In under two decades the Colombian market more than tripled: in 2008 there were 46,452. The 2021 figure (18.9% of the total) is a pandemic oddity: because they arrive by air, Colombians weighed much more when the land borders with Argentina and Bolivia were closed. Figures for other markets are in Peruvian tourists, American tourists and Bolivian tourists in Chile.
