What a guided W Trek includes and what you pay separately
- Civitatis guided W: hotel pickup and drop-off, minibus or bus and boat, a guide (the activity is offered with a Spanish- and English-speaking guide), 4 nights in four-season tents, 4 breakfasts, 5 lunches and 4 dinners, sleeping bag, mat, poles and crampons. Park entry and tips are extra. Minimum age: 13.
- Civitatis self-guided W: bus from Puerto Natales to Laguna Amarga, minibus to the Welcome Center, 4 nights in mountain refugios, the same meals, sleeping bag and mat, and the bus back from Pudeto. Extra: park entry and the Lake Pehoé catamaran, which the listing puts at CLP 27,000 per person. Adults 18+ only.
- G Adventures' The W Trek: first and last night in a Puerto Natales hotel (Hotel Capitán Eberhard, per the itinerary), three nights camping (Laguna Azul, Los Cuernos and Paine Grande) and a return by boat across Lake Pehoé.
Park entry is extra on almost all of them: under CONAF's 2026 rates, the 2-day-or-more pass for foreign adults costs CLP 48,500 (see Torres del Paine entrance fee); buy it on pasesparques.cl. The Civitatis listings quote a different figure (CLP 44,500 for foreigners), so check the current rate before you go.
Mind the cancellation terms: the Civitatis self-guided W is non-refundable and cannot be changed; the guided one refunds 90% if you cancel more than 30 days ahead and nothing after that. On TourRadar, terms depend on each operator: check the listing before paying.

W or O Circuit in Torres del Paine: which one to choose
The W covers the south face of the massif (the base of the Towers, the French Valley and Grey Glacier) in 4 or 5 days. The O Circuit adds the back of the massif and the John Gardner Pass, which is why G Adventures' guided programme takes 11 days and stops at the Serón, Dickson, Los Perros and Grey camps before joining the W.
- Choose the W if you have a week for Patagonia or it is your first multi-day trek.
- Choose the O if you have hiked several days in a row before and want the full loop. This season it opened on 1 November 2026 with the Guardas bridge repaired; read the O Circuit rules and closure thresholds.
- If you are coming from Argentina, People Travel's 7-day programme starts and ends in El Calafate and includes the bus both ways.

What about EcoCamp, Las Torres or the park hotels?
Several lodges in the park, such as EcoCamp Patagonia, sell their own guided trekking programmes with domes. They are not on the platforms compared here, so we do not list them as a booking option; if they interest you, ask them for a quote and compare inclusions against the table above.
