Torres del Paine: road closure on Saturday 7 November for the Patagonia Running race, plus this season's news

On Saturday 7 November 2026, from 11:30 to 13:30, the road running from kilometre 53.2 of route Y-150 to the Río Serrano gate of Torres del Paine National Park will be closed to vehicles. The reason is the fifth Patagonia Running school race, which will bring together more than 800 students from across the Magallanes Region, Radio Polar reported on 4 November.

Authorities asked residents and visitors to plan their journeys around those two hours. Anyone with a transfer or excursion booked through the Serrano sector that Saturday should confirm timings with their operator.
